NEMT SEO that gets you found — on Google, on Maps, and by AI
Duet's Search & AI visibility service puts correct, consistent information about your business everywhere riders look: Google and Google Maps, Bing, Apple Maps, the directories that matter, and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini. We build the profiles, fix the listings, answer the reviews, and keep it all accurate — for $400 a month, done entirely for you.
They ask Google. They ask Maps. Now they ask ChatGPT.
Before anyone books a ride, they look you up. A daughter arranging dialysis trips for her dad searches Google and scans the reviews. A case manager pulls up Maps to see who actually covers your county. And a growing number of both now just ask an AI assistant — "who does wheelchair transportation near me?" — and take whatever answer comes back.
Every one of those lookups is answered by the information published about your business across the web. For most NEMT providers, that information is thin, scattered, and partly wrong: an old phone number on one directory, a former address on another, no services listed anywhere, reviews sitting unanswered for years. None of it looks like a company you'd trust with your mother.
6% → 45%
The share of consumers who used AI tools like ChatGPT for local business recommendations jumped from 6% to 45% in a single year.
BrightLocal, 2026 Local Consumer Review Survey (1,002 US consumers)
1.2%
The share of local business locations that actually appear in ChatGPT's recommendations. Nearly everyone is still invisible there.
SOCi, 2026 Local Visibility Index
Read those two numbers together: the audience asking AI for rides is growing fast, and the field it can recommend from is nearly empty. Because most providers' information is a mess, the one whose facts are complete, consistent, and current stands out everywhere at once — while standing out is still cheap. That's the whole job of this service.
What $400 a month actually buys
Not "ongoing optimization" — a named list of work you can count. One approved fact sheet drives all of it, so every profile, listing, and submission says exactly the same thing about your business.
Your business fact sheet
One page that settles the official version of your business: legal and DBA name, address, phone numbers and coverage hours, service area, services, founding year, website, and identifiers like your NPI or USDOT number. You approve it, and every profile and listing we touch copies it exactly.
Google Business Profile, done right
We create or claim your profile and build it out properly: corrected address and service area, a rewritten description, a full services list, attributes like wheelchair-accessible vehicle, a booking link, ten published questions and answers, and your photos and videos loaded.
Review responses, in your name
New reviews get a response — we target two business days — drafted by a person, in your voice, posted on your behalf. Old reviews that never got an answer finally get one. An active, answered profile is what both families and search engines read as a business that's paying attention.
The profiles that matter
Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, MapQuest, and the Better Business Bureau — each one created or corrected to match your fact sheet exactly, so every road leads to the same accurate you.
Directories, week after week
First we feed your facts to the two big data companies that supply business information to hundreds of smaller directory sites, so corrections spread everywhere at once. Then five to ten directory submissions a week from our verified list of 50+, weighted toward the directories case managers, discharge planners, and families actually use.
Upkeep and a monthly summary
Listings drift: platforms overwrite corrections, duplicates appear, details go stale. We monitor everything against the fact sheet, fix what moves, and send you a brief monthly summary of the work — profiles updated, submissions made, reviews answered.
How an AI assistant decides who to recommend
AI assistants don't rank ten blue links — they write an answer, and they only name businesses they can describe with confidence. That confidence comes from cross-checking: your website if you have one, your Google Business Profile, the review platforms, and the directories all telling the same story about who you are, where you operate, and what you offer.
There's no shortcut around that. You can't buy an ad slot in ChatGPT's answer and there's no form to submit your business. The only way in is to be the company the assistant can verify — which is exactly what a disciplined fact sheet, consistent listings, and an active review presence add up to.
You're missing
The assistant can't find enough about you to name you at all, so it recommends whoever it can verify — or nobody.
You're wrong
It names you but quotes an old phone number, a former address, or services you don't offer. The caller dials, nobody answers, the trip goes elsewhere.
You're out of date
You expanded your service area or added stretcher service years ago, but the web never heard. You keep getting skipped for work you already do.
Three ways to lose a trip you never knew was on the table. The same consistency work fixes all three — and it's the same work that moves you up in Google and Maps, because search engines verify businesses the same way.
The order of operations
The work runs foundation-first, so every later submission inherits facts that are already correct.
Approve your fact sheet
We compile it, you check it. From here on, this one page is the source of truth for everything published.
Google + the major profiles
Google Business Profile built out first, then Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, MapQuest, and the BBB.
The data aggregators
Your facts go to the two primary aggregators that feed hundreds of smaller sites, so corrections spread instead of fighting the tide.
Weekly directory runs
Five to ten submissions a week from the verified target list, and review responses on their two-business-day target.
Ongoing upkeep
Drift correction, duplicate cleanup, fresh photos and Q&As, and the monthly summary in your inbox.
Give it time to land: directories and the indexes behind AI assistants update on their own schedules, measured in weeks. That's the honest reason this starts as a three-month engagement — after that, it's month-to-month.
Why have Duet do it?
Because the listings only work if the details are right, and the details are all NEMT: whether "wheelchair van" and "stretcher transport" are listed as separate services, which counties a discharge planner needs to see named, what a family actually asks before trusting you with a rider. We work only with NEMT providers, we run this same playbook for our own business, and whoever answers your reviews knows what a Hoyer lift is.
"Have been using Duet dispatching software and worked with their team for three years. Also they helped us with website creation and SEO and ad campaigns. This is a great one stop shop for everything we need."
What's deliberately not included: ad spend of any kind (this isn't advertising), paid directory placements (only ever with your approval, at cost), and photography — you provide the photos and videos of your vehicles and team. Website work is its own service: Websites by Duet.
Search & AI visibility questions, answered
What does Duet's NEMT SEO service include?
Everything it takes to make your business show up correctly everywhere riders look: an approved business fact sheet, a fully built-out Google Business Profile with ten published Q&As, review responses targeting a two-business-day turnaround, profiles on Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, MapQuest, and the BBB, submissions to the two big business-data suppliers that feed hundreds of smaller sites, five to ten directory submissions a week from a verified list of 50+, ongoing monitoring and correction of listings that drift, and a monthly summary of the work. $400 a month, no setup fee.
Why does an NEMT company need this? Most of my trips come from a broker.
Because the trips that grow your margin don't come from the broker. Private-pay families search before they call, facilities check you out before a meeting, and discharge planners increasingly ask AI assistants for options. If what they find is missing or wrong, the trip quietly goes to whoever looks accurate and established — and you never even know you were considered.
What does "AI visibility" mean in plain English?
When someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI for wheelchair transportation in your city, the assistant writes an answer instead of showing a list of links — and it only names businesses it can describe with confidence. That confidence comes from finding the same name, phone, services, and service area on your website, your Google profile, and the directories it reads. AI visibility work makes your business easy for those assistants to find, verify, and recommend.
Can you guarantee a #1 ranking, or that ChatGPT will recommend me?
No — and nobody honest can. Google and the AI platforms decide their own results, and there's no ad slot or submission form that buys your way into an AI answer. Anyone promising guaranteed rankings or guaranteed AI mentions is selling something they don't control. What we stand behind is the work: profiles built, corrections submitted, reviews answered — all reported to you monthly.
Why is it monthly? Can't you just set everything up once?
Because listings decay. The big data platforms routinely overwrite corrections with stale data, duplicates reappear, and reviews keep arriving whether anyone answers them or not. A one-time setup looks great for a month and then quietly rots. The ongoing work — monitoring, correcting, responding, refreshing — is what keeps you accurate, and staying active is itself a signal search engines and AI tools reward.
Why the three-month start?
Because that's how long the machinery takes. Directories, the data companies that feed smaller sites, and the indexes behind AI assistants all update on their own schedules — weeks, not days. Three months gives the work time to actually land before you judge it. After that it's month-to-month: cancel with fifteen days' notice before your next monthly cycle, no cancellation fee.
I already have a Google Business Profile. Isn't that enough?
It's the single most important piece, and most profiles we see are running at a fraction of their potential — thin descriptions, no services list, unanswered reviews, no Q&As. But even a perfect Google profile is one platform. Apple Maps runs your iPhone directions, Bing feeds AI assistants, and directories feed the aggregators everything else reads. The point is the same correct answer everywhere, not one good listing.
I don't have a website. Does this still work?
Yes. The profiles, the Maps presence, and the directory listings all stand on their own — and for a lot of local lookups, your Google Business Profile is what people see first anyway. A website makes the whole picture stronger, because it's one more place AI assistants and search engines can confirm your facts, and Duet builds those separately when you're ready. But nothing here requires one.
What do you need from me?
About an hour of your time up front: approve the fact sheet, share access to any profiles you already have, and send photos and videos of your vehicles and team. Some platforms require the owner to complete a verification step — a postcard, a phone call, occasionally a video — and we'll walk you through each one. After that, the work is ours.
Who owns the profiles and listings?
You do — every profile, listing, and account belongs to your business, and the reviews and inquiries they generate are yours. If we ever part ways, we hand over the credentials and manager access we hold. Nothing is held hostage.
Does this work with the website service or the software?
They reinforce each other, but nothing is bundled or required. Your website works best when it carries the same fact-sheet information as your profiles — AI assistants cross-check — so pairing this with a Duet-built website is natural. And if you run Duet software, your booking link goes on the profiles so a found rider can become a booked trip in one step.
