NEMT website design that gets found — and gets the call
Duet builds fast, custom-coded websites for NEMT providers — brand new, or a fresh rebuild of the site you have. We write it, design it, launch it on your domain, host it, and keep it updated, so you're never the one wrestling a website editor. The site has three jobs: showing up in Google, being cited by AI search tools like ChatGPT, and turning a visiting family into a phone call.
They look you up before they call you
Before a family books a ride, they look you up. Before a discharge planner hands over a patient, they look you up. What they find decides whether the next call goes to you — and in this industry, what they find is often nothing: a surprising number of NEMT providers have no website at all, and many more have one that hasn't been touched in years.
That used to be survivable when trips came by word of mouth. It isn't anymore. Search engines, and now AI assistants, are the front door to private-pay work — and they can only send riders to businesses they can find, read, and trust.
The good news: in a field where most websites are missing or broken, a genuinely good one is a cheap, durable advantage. This is the rare marketing problem money actually fixes — and not much of it.
The numbers behind this: 98% of private-pay customers Google you before they call.
What every Duet-built site is engineered for
A Duet website is a working asset, not an online brochure: optimized for search engines, readable by AI assistants, and designed so a visitor's next step is always obvious. Every build:
Built to be found in Google
Clean structure, fast load, the right titles and local signals — the SEO fundamentals search engines reward, done correctly from the start.
Built to be cited by AI
More families now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI who can drive mom to dialysis. We structure your pages and facts so AI search can read, trust, and recommend you.
Built to convert
Click-to-call buttons, an embedded trip-booking form if you run Duet, clear services and service area, and the proof a family needs before trusting you with a rider. A visitor should never wonder what to do next.
Built for NEMT
Wheelchair, ambulatory, stretcher; facilities and families; the questions riders actually ask. No generic template with a stock handshake photo.
The website is the foundation. Being found everywhere else — your Google Business Profile, Maps, directories, and AI assistants — is its own ongoing job, and it's what our Search & AI visibility service does.
A website that books trips, not just describes them
For providers on Duet's software, we embed a booking form directly in your website. When a rider or facility fills it out, the trip request drops straight into your Duet account — ready for you to accept or decline — and Duet notifies you that a new trip request is waiting.
No voicemail tag, no email back-and-forth, no re-typing details into your system. The visitor books, the request shows up on the same board as every other trip, and you accept or decline it right there. It's the difference between a website that describes your service and one that quietly works the front desk.
The software is free under 100 trips a month, so even a brand-new provider can launch with a site that takes bookings from day one.
How a form-fill lands
- 1 A rider or facility fills out the booking form on your site.
- 2 The trip request drops into your Duet account automatically.
- 3 Duet notifies you: new trip request waiting.
- 4 You accept or decline — nothing to re-enter.
From kickoff to live in about three weeks
You review everything before it ships and never touch anything technical. The same process covers a brand-new site and a rebuild of the one you have — for a rebuild, we carry over the content and branding worth keeping and improve it as we go.
Discovery call
A short call to align on your services, pages, branding, and whatever assets you already have — photos, testimonials, an old site worth mining.
Copy, written for review
Keyword research first, then every page drafted for you to read — titles and headers tuned to your most important service and location searches.
Design, presented for review
A custom design that looks like a company facilities can trust, shown to you before anything gets built.
Build on a private preview
The full site goes up on a private preview link for you to click through. Two rounds of consolidated revisions are included.
Launch on your domain
Typically three weeks after kickoff, the site goes live at your address. We handle the technical pointing; the domain stays registered to you.
One page $400 · five pages $650, one-time — new build or rebuild. Larger sites priced per scope.
The project fee is invoiced up front at kickoff — and you review the copy, the design, and the complete site on a private preview before anything goes live.
Hosting: $15 a month, and you never touch a server
After launch, Duet hosts your website and takes care of it. There's no software for you to maintain and no editor to learn — when something needs to change, you tell us and we change it.
Fast and secure by default
Your site is served over Cloudflare's global network — the same infrastructure behind millions of the web's busiest sites — with SSL included, so it loads fast everywhere and shows the padlock browsers expect.
Content edits included
Thirty minutes of edits every quarter: new hours, new prices, a new phone number, fresh photos, an updated testimonial. Email us the change and we make it. There's nothing for you to log into and nothing to learn.
Nothing for you to maintain
There's no WordPress to update and no plugins to patch — custom-coded pages have nothing to break and nothing to hack through, which is exactly why we build this way.
Simple, honest terms
$15 a month, billed annually ($180 a year). With an active Duet software account when your site launches — even the free tier — the first year is free, and your first hosting invoice simply comes at the start of year two. Hosting renews each year unless you tell us otherwise. And the site is yours either way: prefer to host it yourself? We hand over the files and help you move.
Hosting covers the website only — your email stays exactly where it is today, untouched.
Never had a website? Here's the whole picture
A working website is three separate things, and knowing which is which tells you exactly what you're paying for — and what you own.
your address
Your domain
The name people type, like yourcompany.com. You buy it directly from a domain company such as GoDaddy or Namecheap for roughly $10–20 a year — that money never passes through Duet, and the name is registered to you, never to us. Don't have one yet? We'll walk you through it.
what keeps it online
Hosting
A website has to live on a computer that's always on and reachable from anywhere. That's hosting — it's what the $15 a month covers, along with the quarterly edits and our care.
what we build
The website itself
The pages, words, design, and code — the thing riders and facilities actually see. Duet builds it, and it belongs to you outright from the day it's delivered.
One more thing people worry about: your email address rides on your domain, not on your website — nothing about your email changes when the site does.
Why have Duet build it?
Because we're not guessing at your industry. We build only NEMT websites, we run search marketing for NEMT providers every day, and we obsess over how AI engines read and cite this kind of business — it's how we approach our own site. The lessons from every campaign and every build go into yours.
It's also why the price is in the hundreds while agencies quote thousands: no discovery workshops, no learning curve, no padding. We already know what an NEMT website has to say and do — the work is making yours say it about you, well.
"Duet has been a huge help for our NEMT business. Their team is always responsive, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about helping us succeed. After looking at several other options, Duet stood out by far."
Website questions, answered
What does NEMT website design cost from Duet?
A one-page website is $400 and a five-page site is $650 — one-time, and the price is the same whether we're building your first site or rebuilding an existing one. Larger sites are priced per scope. Hosting is $15/month billed annually, and the first year is free with an active Duet software account when the site launches. Typical web agencies charge $2,000–$6,000 for the same thing; we can price in the hundreds because we build only NEMT sites and have the process down cold.
Why does a small NEMT company even need a website?
Because that's where riders come from now. Families search online before they call anyone, and a provider with no site — or a site that looks abandoned — loses the trip to whoever looks credible. Your website is also where Google Ads land, what facilities check before a meeting, and increasingly what AI assistants read when someone asks for transportation recommendations.
I already have a website. Can you just fix it up?
We do something better: rebuild it, for the same $400 or $650 as a new site. If your site runs on a platform like WordPress, Wix, or GoDaddy's builder, patching it in place means inheriting the slowness and upkeep that made it a problem — so instead we carry over your content and branding, improve both, and build you a fresh, fast site that replaces the old one at your same address. Same domain, better everything else.
What's the difference between a domain, hosting, and the website? I'm new to all of this.
Three separate things, and it's fine that nobody ever explained them. Your domain is your address on the internet — the name people type, bought from a domain company (like GoDaddy or Namecheap) in your name for about $10–20 a year. Hosting is what keeps the site online: space on a computer that's always on, which is what the $15 a month covers. The website is the actual pages we build and you own. Address, land, building — you own the address and the building; the land rents for $15 a month, first year free with Duet software.
Why is there a monthly fee after the site is built?
The $400 or $650 builds the site, and that part is done once. Hosting is what keeps it on the internet after that — every website on earth pays for hosting somewhere, usually without the owner realizing it's a separate thing. Ours is $15 a month billed annually, it includes 30 minutes of content edits each quarter, and the first year is free with an active Duet software account when the site launches. If your first year is free, your first hosting invoice simply comes at the start of year two, and hosting renews each year unless you tell us otherwise.
Do I actually own the website? What happens if I leave?
You own it — the copy, the design, and the code — from the day it's delivered, and your domain is registered in your name from day one. If you ever stop hosting with us, we give you a complete copy of the site files and help you move to any host you choose. Plenty of owners have been burned by builders who hold sites hostage; we wrote ownership into the agreement instead.
How do I make changes if there's no editor?
You tell us, we do it. Hosting includes 30 minutes of content edits every quarter — hours, prices, phone numbers, photos, testimonials, page text — so a change is one email, not a login and a tutorial. Bigger jobs, like new pages or a redesign, get a straight quote first. If you've ever fought a website editor at 11 pm, this is the feature.
Will my email address change?
No. Your email rides on your domain, not on your website — it keeps flowing through whoever provides it today, and building or moving the website doesn't touch it. If you use a plain Gmail or Yahoo address, nothing changes there either. And if you'd like a professional you@yourcompany.com address once you own a domain, that's set up with an email provider like Google Workspace — separate from website hosting, but we're happy to point you the right way.
How long does it take?
About three weeks from kickoff to launch for most builds. You review the copy and the design along the way, the whole site goes up on a private preview link before anything is public, and two rounds of consolidated revisions are included. The usual thing that stretches a timeline is waiting on photos — have those ready and three weeks is realistic.
What's on a one-page site versus a five-page site?
The one-pager puts everything a caller needs on a single scrolling page: services, service area, proof, and prominent ways to call or book. The five-page build breaks that into dedicated pages — typically home, services, about, and contact, plus a page for a key service or city — which gives search engines more to rank and riders more to trust.
Can the website take bookings directly?
Yes. For providers on Duet's software, we embed a booking form right in the site. When a rider or facility fills it out, the trip request drops straight into your Duet account for you to accept or decline, and Duet notifies you that a new request is waiting — no voicemail tag, no re-entering details from an email. The software is free under 100 trips a month, so even brand-new providers can launch with a site that books.
Do I have to buy Duet software to get a website?
No. The website is a stand-alone service. But an active software account — even the free tier — makes your first year of hosting free, and it unlocks the embedded booking form that turns site visitors into trips on your board. The two are built to work together; neither is required for the other.
How can it be this inexpensive? What's the catch?
No catch — the economics are just different. We build sites for one industry we know deeply, with modern tools that make us fast, and websites are one of several services rather than our whole paycheck. We'd rather every NEMT provider have a real website than price like an agency.
